Carriers & Travel
Check your pet’s measurements, secure closures and ventilation before choosing a carrier or travel accessory.
BUYING GUIDE · CARRIERS & TRAVEL
Select carriers and travel accessories by fit
A travel carrier needs enough interior room for your animal to settle naturally. Check ventilation, closure security and the dimensions of the actual usable compartment, not just the outer bag.
For car journeys, review the vehicle’s restraint requirements and a product’s stated attachment method. A backpack, pet seat accessory and crash-tested carrier are not interchangeable products.
Think about handling and cleaning as well as portability. If you plan to fly, confirm the latest individual airline rules; a generic “airline approved” claim does not guarantee acceptance.
Frequently asked questions
How can I choose a cat carrier?
Check interior measurements, door access, ventilation and whether you can clean it safely. Let your cat explore it before travel.
Is any pet travel bag safe to use in a car?
No. A travel bag’s existence does not establish crash protection; check the exact manufacturer instructions and vehicle restraint guidance.
